FIRST GENERATION

1. Thomas ETHELL (ATHOL) immigrated in 1646 to Virginia.(1) Thomas was brought over from England by Sir William Berkeley, governor of the Virginia Colony, in 1646. Assumed to be the father of John, father of Abraham, but no direct evidence--only speculation.
