Henry ETHELL was born in 1764 in Loudoun County, Virginia.⁽⁶⁾ He appeared on the census in 1810 in Greenbriar County, WVA (then VA). ⁽¹⁰⁾ He owned 100 acres (Land grant 3822) in 1810 in Adam County, Jefferson Township, Ohio. ⁽¹¹⁾ He died in 1833 in Greenbriar or Monroe County, WVA. ⁽⁶⁾ He appeared on the census in 1840 in Greenbriar County, WVA. ⁽¹²⁾
